FMNavigator returns, for each individual bar, a general summary of what is happening in the market. By selecting a bar within the chart, the software highlights values, including: bar classification, market phase, Strength orientation (oversold to overbought), important levels for the current market phase (Targets, Supports and Resistances), truthfulness of the current trend and much more.

Classification of bars

Depending on the current market phase, the type of bar provides different operational indications. FMNavigator classifies the bars into 11 categories: thrust bars, reversing bars, retraction bars, consolidation bars, etc. etc. Naming each single bar, it has been possible to classify the whole market, in order to have precise operational indications at any time.

Market Target

The right column of the chart shows the market targets. This is a real indicator that identifies the short and long term targets according to the current trend. The targets are displayed from the closest to the most distant: T1, T2, T3 and T4. If one of the targets has the “*” symbol, it is to be considered of greater importance: the bearish targets are represented by the orange color, while the bullish ones by the blue color. Once a target is reached by the price, it takes on a bright green color. If a target is reached by the price, it will turn dark green.

The characteristic coloration of the bearish and bullish targets allows understanding at a glance the orientation of the market. The value of the market target will not change until the current trend is reversed. You can, therefore, rely on the targets to place pending orders (take-profit and stop-loss).

Mo e Vo: Momentum and Volatility

The Momentum measures the acceleration of a movement, it is represented by the Mo indicator which shows a numerical value and a coloration. At a glance, through its coloration, you can define whether a market, bearish or bullish, is in acceleration or correction phase. The numerical value, which varies from 0 to 10, indicates what stage the movement is at. When Mo values 0, surely a movement will start, when it values 10, probably the acceleration of the movement has reached the limit.

The Vo indicator represents a type of price volatility. The VO can take different colors, depending on the orientation of the price (bearish or bullish). It also shows a numerical value that varies from 0 to 10 and indicates how much volatility is present in the market. When the VO values 0, 1 or 2, it means that the price could generate an “explosion of volatility
