What are the market phases, 3 ? … No, 7
FMNavigator divides the market into 7 different phases, making price analysis as easy as possible. The software, to make the identification of the phases as intuitive as possible, gives each of them a different color:
- Phases TRange : white color, represents a pure side market
- Phases TR Short : orange color, it represents a bearish side market, announcing a probable SHORT phase
- Phases TR Long : cyan color, representing a bullish side market, it foreshadows a probable LONG phase
- Phases SHORT : bright red, it represents a strong market in that direction
- Phases Short2 : dark red, it represents the probable final phase of a bearish market
- Phases LONG : bright green, a strong market in that direction
- Phases Long2 : dark green, the likely final stage of a bullish market;
Trading Range
Marked by the colour white, it represents a pure side market. It is recommended to enter into position only when specific patterns appear; it is however the phase with the highest operational risk.

Trading Range Short
Marked orange identifies the initial phase of a bearish trend. It is recommended to enter into position only when specific patterns appear. To reduce the risk, it is recommended to enter the upper part of the channel, as the bearish movement is not yet consolidated.

Trading Range Long
Marked cyan identifies the initial phase of a bullish trend. It is recommended to enter the position only when specific patterns appear. To reduce the risk, it is recommended to enter the lower part of the channel, as the bullish movement is not yet consolidated.

SHORT
Marked in bright red, it identifies a market in full bearish trend. The market at this stage is strong and directional.

Short2
Dark red identifies the likely end of a bearish market; a phase that heralds possible trend reversals.

LONG
Marked with a bright green color, it identifies a market in full bullish trend. The market at this stage is strong and directional.

Long2
Marked dark green, it identifies the likely end of a bullish market; a phase that heralds possible reversals of the trend.
